On November 12 2020, just after 06:00 p.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), West Perth Fire Department, and Perth County Paramedic Services responded to a collision on Line 42, in the Municipality of West Perth. The preliminary investigation has revealed that the driver of a car travelling westbound on Line 42 entered the eastbound lane, striking the rear of a tractor that was travelling in that lane.
