Another Spousal Assault & Break & Enter Abuse, Keep It In The Family To Keep It Anonymous

On March 26, 2024, at 5:09 p.m., members of the Chippewas of the Thames Police, Oneida Nation Police and Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address in Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, for the report of a disturbance.
The accused fled the scene in a vehicle, which was located a short time later at another residence.
The accused was taken into custody without incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old of Lambton County, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:
· Break, Enter dwelling house commit indictable offence
· Assault Spousal (two counts)
· Operation while impaired drugs
· Failure to comply with undertaking
· Poss of a Schedule I Substance Opioid (other than heroin)
The accused was held for bail.
