36 Year Old Arrested For Assault

(MALAHIDE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Elgin County (St. Thomas) Detachment has charged an individual following an intimate partner violence investigation.

On March 9, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., members of the Elgin County OPP (St. Thomas) Detachment were dispatched to a residence in the Township of Malahide following a disturbance.

As a result, a 36-year-old of the Township of Malahide was charged with:

Assault – Spousal
The accused was held for bail hearing.
