Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault CK24016004
At 10:21 a.m., the man attended the Ontario Court of Justice on Grand Avenue West in Chatham.
Officers confirmed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for a September 2023 assault investigation. When the man was not located a warrant was issued for his arrest.
The 25-year-old Chatham man was transported to police headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: aggravated assault.
Man Arrested for Failing to Comply with a Release Order CK24016106
On April 12, 2024, at 5:06 a.m., emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision on Sass Road in Chatham.
Upon arrival, officers learn the man was bound by a release order not to occupy the drivers seat of a motor vehicle. He was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing.
The 42-year-old Chatham-Kent man currently faces the following charges: failing to comply with release order, driving while disqualified and careless driving.
