2 From Meaford Arrested For Break & Enter

(THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ON) Members of the Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of front-line members of the Collingwood/The Blue Mountains OPP arrested two parties in relation to a string of break and enter incident in Thornbury.
The break-ins, seven in total, occurred during the month of May at a commercial property on King Street in Thornbury where the suspects gained access to storage lockers and made off with undisclosed items.
The Collingwood/The Blue Mountains OPP CSCU began their investigation and with the assistance of the Grey County OPP CSCU were able to identify the culprits which led to their arrests.
Charged are: 33-year-old Anthony VANSICKER of Meaford, charged with six counts of Break and Enter
And 30-year-old William CONLIN also of Meaford, charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of Break-In Instruments, Obstruct Peace Officer, Theft Under $5000 and five counts of Break and Enter.
Both were held in custody for a bail hearing and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a future date.
