John-Michel BOTTOMLEY Was Arrested

On July 4, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., members of the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting general patrol on Highway 11/17 in Dawson Road Township when they observed a motor vehicle driving erratically.
Through investigation, officers suspected that the driver of the motor vehicle had been impaired. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Thunder Bay OPP Detachment for further testing.
As a result, John-Michel BOTTOMLEY, 35-years-old, of Dryden, has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and Cannabis Control Act with:
· Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand
· Drive Vehicle or Boat with Cannabis Readily Available
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on August 28, 2024.
