David BURGER Cocaine

On July 12, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the James Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Railway Street in Cochrane.
An investigation revealed the drivers licence was disqualified under the criminal code, and the driver was arrested. A search incident to arrest yielded a small amount of a substance suspected to be cocaine.
As a result, David BURGER, 43 years-of-age of St. Catherines was charged with the following:
· Operation while prohibited under the criminal code
· Possession of a schedule I substance Cocaine
The accused was released from custody and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cochrane on August 13, 2024. The vehicle was impounded for 45 days.
