On August 16, 2024 at approximately 5:00 p.m., the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) Program at Sunnyside Road, Bonfield.
While the program was underway, a black pick-up truck was stopped. The driver was subsequently arrested and brought to the North Bay OPP detachment for further testing.
Joesph BERUBE 45 years-of-age of Bonfield was charged with Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.
The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS), vehicle impounded for seven days, and is scheduled to appear at the North Bay Ontario Court of Justice on September 24, 2024.
