Dainith TOULOUSE Drunk Driving

On September 28, 2024, the Mississauga First Nation Police Service was on patrol duties on Village Road in the community of Mississauga First Nation.
At approximately 5:00 p.m., police observed a black SUV with no plates backing out of a driveway on Village Road and initiated a traffic stop. While speaking to the driver police determined alcohol had been consumed and a subsequent arrest was made. With the assistance from the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) the driver was then transported to Blind River detachment for further testing.
As a result, Dainith TOULOUSE, 34 years-of-age who resides in the community of Mississauga First Nation was charged with:
Operation while impaired alcohol
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Failure to comply with undertaking
The accused appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice Video Bail Court in Blind River on September 29, 2024.
The SUV was towed and impounded for seven days with the driver being issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension.
