Drug Bust Names Released

Orillia CSCU began investigating individuals who were allegedly trafficking drugs in the City of Orillia. Utilizing investigative techniques police were able to gather evidence further advancing their investigation. On October 2, 2024 satisfied with the information gathered the Orillia CSCU proceeded to the next steps in their investigation. With the assistance of Nottawasaga OPP CSCU, Orillia OPP Community Mobilization Unit (CMU), Orillia OPP officers and the Tactical Response Unit (TRU)a search warrant was executed at an address on Barrie Rd in the City of Orillia and three persons were arrested and charged.
As a result of the investigation, the following was seized:
· 67 grams of fentanyl
· 23 grams of cocaine
· 4 x 100ml bottles methadone
· 134 Hydromorphone pills
· 67 Oxycodone pills
· Prohibited knife
· Multiple cellular devices
Paul HART-PAYNE, 31 years old, of Orillia, has been charged with:
Adult Assault with a Weapon
Adult Uttering Threats Cause death or Bodily Harm
Adult Poss of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order x 3
Adult Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 6
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl, Cocaine, Methadone, Oxycodone, & Hydromorphone
Possession of property obtained by crime
Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Michael HART-PAYNE, 30 years old, of Orillia, has been charged with:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Methadone
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Oxycodone
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Hydromorphone
Possession of property obtained by crime
Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
The accused was released on a Form 10 Undertaking with a future court date.
Serena HORTON, 21 years old, of Orillia, has been charged with:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Methadone
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Oxycodone
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Hydromorphone
Possession of property obtained by crime
Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
The accused was released on a Form 10 Undertaking with a future court date.
