Rachael NATTAK Drunk Driving

On November 15, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a family dispute at a residence on Kirkpatrick Street. One person who appeared to be impaired was reported to have departed the residence driving a motor vehicle.
Shortly after, the vehicle was located and stopped by police. Upon speaking with the driver, officers determined that the driver had consumed an alcoholic beverage. The driver was arrested and transported to the Kirkland Lake detachment for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Rachael NATTAK, a 44-year-old of Kirkland Lake was arrested and charged for the following:
· Operation while impaired alcohol
· Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
· Novice driver blood alcohol concentration above zero.
The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment. The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on December 12, 2024.
