Christopher MYRE Was Arrested

On December 4, 2024, just before 8:30 p.m., officers attended a collision between a pedestrian and vehicle on Front Road, just east of Hawkesbury. The pedestrian was wearing all black clothing and had been walking in the middle of the highway during a snow storm.
Officers discovered the pedestrian 24-year-old Christopher MYRE from Hawkesbury was wanted for previous outstanding charges.
As a result, MYRE was arrested and charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada and Highway Traffic Act:
Obstruct peace officer
Failure to comply with release order other than to attend court
Pedestrian on roadway fail to keep to left edge
MYRE was transported to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. He was then held for bail and is scheduled to appear in court on December 5, 2024 at the LOrignal Court of Justice.
