On Thursday, January 9, 2025, at approximately 8:10 p.m., four masked men entered a shopping center in the 1100-block of Wellington Road South carrying hammers.
The men attended a jewelry store inside the shopping center, smashed display cases, and stole an undisclosed amount of jewelry.
Police responded to numerous 9-1-1 calls and attended the area.
Two suspects were arrested while attempting to flee on foot, while two others fled from the area in a vehicle.
A search of the suspects yielded a quantity of stolen jewelry.
There were no reported injuries.
As a result of the investigation, Raavon Walker-Nabwangu, 28, of Ottawa, and Warren Tyler Fox, 28, of Toronto, have been jointly charged with the following offences:
Armed robbery; and
Disguise with intent.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the reported robbery who may have information, dash-cam/cellphone footage, or video surveillance, to contact the London Police Service.
The investigation was reassigned to members of the LPS Street Crime Unit and is ongoing.
The two accused are expected to appear in London court today in relation to the charges.
