3 Vehicle Collision 24 Year Old Arrested

On February 9, 2025, at 10:18 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and Thames Centre Fire were dispatched to the intersection of Westchester Bourne and Hamilton Road in Thames Centre for report of a three-vehicle collision.
Investigation revealed an involved vehicle had been observed earlier in the evening, driving erratically and fled from police as a traffic stop was attempted.
Due to public safety concerns, there was no pursuit of the vehicle.
A driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.
As a result, Reese VAN HEES, a 24-year-old of London has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
· Operation while impaired drugs
· Dangerous operation
· Flight from peace officer
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on March 13, 2025.
Two drivers were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening-injuries.
