Kenneth CAWLEY Was Arrested

On March 21, 2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team while conducting traffic enforcement, observed a motor vehicle travelling at what appeared to be a high rate of speed.
A traffic stop was initiated on Bentpath Line, east of Oil Heritage Road, after travelling in excess of 160 km/h in an 90km/h zone.
As a result of the investigation, Kenneth CAWLEY, 25-year-old of Point Edward was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and the Highway Traffic Act with the following offences:
Failure or refusal to comply with demand
Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Drive motor vehicle Perform stunt Excessive speed
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on April 21, 2025.
