One Dead KARANVIR SINGH Arrested

On April 13, 2025, shortly after 1:30 a.m., Caledon OPP and emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle collision on Bramalea Road, near Boston Mills Road. Three occupants were in the vehicle. One passenger, a 21-year-old from Brampton, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Another passenger, a 20-year-old from Brampton, was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious, life-threatening injuries. The driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was later arrested after officers formed grounds that their ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
As a result of the investigation, KARANVIR SINGH, 23, of Brampton, was charged with:
Impaired operation causing death
Impaired operation causing bodily harm
Obstruct peace officer
The accused was held for a Bail Hearing.
Bramalea Road between King Street and Boston Mills Road was closed for several hours while the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionists assisted with the investigation.
