Arrest In A-C-W

Just before 11:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025, Huron County OPP officers responded to a disturbance at the Falls Reserve Conservation Area. Officers stopped a vehicle in the area and spoke with the driver. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and later refused to provide a breath sample as required by law. The accused was charged as follows:
Christopher DARBYSON, 34 years-of-age from Chatham has been charged with:
Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand,
Operation while Impaired Alcohol and Drug.
The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days. The accused drivers licence was suspended for a period of 90 days.
The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice Goderich on September 15th, 2025.
