Attempted Carjacking – Suspects At Large

(SAUGEEN FIRST NATION, ON) – The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a reported attempted carjacking that occurred on September 7, 2025, at approximately 5:34 p.m.

On September 7, 2025, at approximately 5:34 p.m., a vehicle was approached by two unknown individuals near the intersection of Christine Street and Cameron Drive in Saugeen First Nation.



One suspect entered the front passenger side of the vehicle and brandished a knife, threatening the driver. The second suspect remained outside with a bicycle. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, managed to physically remove the suspect and was not injured.

Both suspects were described as wearing all black clothing and ski masks. One left the area on foot, while the other departed on a bicycle.

The Grey Bruce OPP Crime Unit is continuing the investigation.
