Bryan RUNSTADTLER Facing Numerous Charges

On September 29, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Wellington County OPP were conducting a proactive traffic enforcement initiative, when a motor vehicle was observed parked on the side of the road of Wellington Road 29, Centre Wellington Township, with their turn signal on, and the driver slumped over.
As a result of the investigation, Bryan RUNSTADTLER, a 57-year-old of Guelph-Eramosa Township, is charged under the Criminal Code, the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act, and the Highway Traffic Act with:
Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs
Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code
Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking Other drugs
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000
Driving while under suspension (four counts)
Use plate not authorized for vehicle
Additionally, the accused was wanted by a neighbouring police service and was turned over on their charges, and ultimately held in police custody, pending a bail hearing.
A 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a 45-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice Guelph on November 7, 2025.
