Alexandre HOTTIN-LAMPRON Was Arrested

On January 27, 2026, at approximately 5:00 p.m., police received a complaint regarding a vehicle driving aggressively and swerving on Highway 11, south of Latchford. Officers located the vehicle shortly thereafter and conducted a traffic stop.
Following an investigation, the driver was arrested for impaired and transported to the Temiskaming Detachment for further testing.
As a result, Alexandre HOTTIN-LAMPRON, 29 years of age, of Senneterre, Quebec, has been charged with:
Operation while impaired alcohol
Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The drivers licence was suspended for 90 days under Ontarios Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) program, and the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury on March 10, 2026.
